remington 870 recoil pad

I've got a remington 870 express with the wooden stock. The recoil pad on this thing is the hardest piece of rubber in the world. Anyone can recommend a good recoil pad?

I was looking at some sites and they say that limbsaver doesn't make one for the 870 express wood. Is this true? will other recoil pads work?
 
look for the new remington supercell, they make it for express wood, amazing, got one on my light 870 express synthetic w/ 26 ince barrel, great, can shoot skeet and trap all day.
 
x2 on the supercell, amazing product, my dad as a bad shoulder, i made him shoot a lot of clays and he did not feel pain after.
i shoot 3 inch slugs whit it and the pain is realy less than whit the stock pad.
i bouth mine at le baron.

is it on le barons online catalog? i can't seem to find it
 
lebaron has a pachmayr pre fit one for the 870 with wood stock on page 114 of there fall catalog code #01705 for $30.94. hope this helps
 
limbsaver does make one for remington 870 police model with wood stock:confused:. you could probably print out the template from there site and check the fit compared to your 870? just another option. just check the limbsaver website it's under the recoil pad cross-refrance chart. i think i have too much time on my hands:rolleyes:
