Could do with a standard police forend. I do see the advantage of adding a hand stop with the magpul if you don't add a sling stop like the original WitPros.

I believe Remington will not be exporting any more 14" barreled shotguns, as the government said they're not allowed to. If someone has a definitive answer to this I'd be happy to hear it.

Replace the forend with a Hogue or even the synthetic Police model, add a +1 mag extension with vertical sling plate (for hand stop as well), make the receiver a Police or Wingmaster model and I'd be interested.

.... which is why I put together my own instead. :)

It was Mossberg. They got in trouble with the State Dept. A bunch of 14" barrel 590A1 were exported to Canada on a LE end user for a PD. The PD didn't want them all. So the Mossberg distributor sold the rest to civilians. The US State Dept. caught wind of it and Mossberg just able got charged by the US State Dept. for falsify a export permit.

They won't export anymore short barreled shotguns. Under US law, these aren't short barreled shotguns. Just simply firearms. I wonder if that'll affect exporting.
