Hey anyone handled one of these or even better shot one? Also who is stocking these right now?

This thing looks mean for a factory gun, I'd like to carry this for bear defense...

Indeed i have handled and shot one.. some people claim to have bad experiences and all sorts of things like rust under the polymer coating etc .. i havent had any of that and i love this shotgun more than my own family.

its lighter than an 870 and shoots softer as well.. looks a bit more BA in standard form than an 870 too..

Hey fenix, do you think the mesa AR adapter would fit on this model, that with some magpul kit might just put this unit over the top...

I have the 28 inch barrel version and use it as a back up/bad weather skeet and bird gun. Cycles super smooth, better than my 870 for sure

i havent tried interchanging the stock with an AR .. apparently the internal reciever is a skeletonized 870.. so the mesa adaptor may fit..

thats about as certain as i can be though

I vaguely recall reading in another thread that the stock is not interchangeable with 870 stocks and rcvr adapters, dont quote me on that however. I was looking buying one of these and would be pleased to be proven wrong about interchangeability.

I have one aswell, one of my favorite shotguns.

My 870 for some reason wont accept the cheap birdshots but the 887 eats them right up! (Although I still love my 870, dont get me wrong)

I want one, I think because of it's weight and length it would make for an excellent bush gun/campfire bear defense...

Where did you get yours? WS ordered some and is going to be selling them for $440 Thats one hell of a price considering what your getting...

Yer shells are upside-down in that shell holder.

I got it from a gunshow so I'm not to sure where someone could get one.
