remington 887

I have one, and its awesome, never ever jams, takes 3 1/2" shells too, it never rusts. runs better than my 870 I had, but it also fits me better. I think its more important to make sure a gun fits you well, the most reliable gun in the world isn't that good if it doesn't fit you well, go to your local shop and shoulder every gun your looking at, then narrow it down on ones that just feel right. its more of a big mans gun. its easy to hang on to when its wet too

btw mine has over 3k rounds of trap through it now and its so smooth, the reason they jam is operator error, if you don't pump it the full distance(because it takes 3 1/2) it wont eject the shell fully and jam on the next round or double feed, and some guys think that they never have to clean them ever. There may have been some issues with the early ones but as long as you don't get one built on a Monday or a Friday...

A buddy has one. It has to be racked rediculously hard to get spent shells to eject. Misses birds every outing because of it. It's all plastic coated and weather resistant, but the most unreliable pump I've ever seen.
