man, if its 3 grand in the USA, it will easily hit 4 up here.... Not to mention, we probably wont get the folding stock or any other fun stuff....
IMHO for that much money, go with a SIG or an XCR, and you're getting just as good, if not a better gun, for less money.
You could probably get an HK MR223 for less than the ACR.
Although the lack of demand in the USA (due to price) may have an advantage up here since they are more likely to export a gun if they dont sell well. (as opposed to the Kel Tec RFB, which is rare in the USA as it is.)
I had a hard on for the Magpul Masada too. But now that Shrubmaster has control over it and basically ruined the rifle in terms of cost and appeal I am now putting my stock in the Beretta ARX 160. I hope beretta can deliver a good product for a fraction of the price of the ACR.
The vz. 58 with it's intricate, milled receiver, efficient gas system and ambi-mag release blows the ACR away, and it's only $700.

vz 58 is better than the AR FOW? news to me, I better be watching my back at NSCC this year.

I'm not aware of a "FOW" model of the AR. Please explain.
