I say this eventhough I like what I've seen on the ARX-160 and sure wouldn't mind having one in an NR format, but is it outsite the realm of possibility that it may suffer from the same developments challenges that GreenTips brought up?
Apparently the ones with the restricted Bushmaster barrels that made it into the country work well.
I would still much rather try the new improved Remington ACR.

The Masada the Bushmaster ACR is not. The Remington ACR2, more so.
Do you know if they are going to bring out the ACR2 to Canada?
There have been a few hints, a few denials - so pick your speculation. At just over 6lbs, it would be very, very sweet...
Shoot, even after the whole Bushmaster ACR fiasco, I'd lay down some money if the Remington ACR2 was available for commercial sale in Canada... It's a beautiful looking rifle which looks (on paper) to be greatly improved.
In typical American fashion, the consumer market tends to hurry up to push products out so they can hurry up to generate cash flow to pay back the investment while they are still trying to iron out bugs and issues.
I don't think it is fair to lay that on just the Americans. We have seen it done, and continues to be so, on some Canadian products.
