Hey guys have anyone used these Remington Accu tips preferably in 7mm, but happy to hear about any experiences regarding these in a hunting situation?
$33 for 50 down here, contemplating trying something else apart from 139 hornadys....
I'm heading to the big smoke tomorrow so will be able to save a few bucks in the big stores!

Thanks guys
WL

from what I searched, its not what I'm looking for.
keen to hear experience though, as it could make a great Fallow deer (small ones) bullet.

Rem core-lock factory ammo has killed 50% of the moose & deer in canada and power points another 45%.
Less than $25 a box off the shelf at crappy tire or walmart for oh 3s, aught 6s or oh 8s.

How dare you suggest something old still works, those moose and deer have evolved caliber and bullet specific armor to stop anything not made in the last 3 years, don't you know that. :D

Accu-tips are Hornady SSTs, and as such are well suited to deer sized game particularly at long range. They would be great on fallows as those scrawny little things don't offer a lot of resistance to a bullet and the softer the better. I did a bit of a bullet test with the .257 Weatherby in which fallows co-starred with reds this year. The softer the better.

Thats suprising, i wouldnt have thought they AT was a SST!
The little bronze tip rems look good but as above, the cup n core sp would suffice.

Yeah woodleighs for winter and The Big Deer.. ;)
