Can anyone tell me the approximate value of this gun.It was a curling prize about 20 years ago I have been told it has never been fired. It has some engraving on the side from the company that donated it.It looks like it needs a good cleaning from sitting in a closet for 20 years

There are those people who would pay a lot for one of those, new, unfired, in the box. They swear they're great little plinkers. But as an engraved curling prize? Collector value just plummeted.

Ask what you think is fair compared to a new rifle, and hope for the best. Drop the price if nobody bites . . .

Regardless, it's a brand new rifle that would be fun to shoot for somebody!

At this site:

you would get $300 US no joke, those guys will pay anything to have a new Nylon 66 and NEVER OPEN IT APART to clean it they don't need cleaning,at the above site you can download the owner's manual or call Remington and they will mail you one like they did for me.I have one, they are very reliable, accurate, maintenance free and light, quite and no recoil.
