Just got my new SIR/Cabelas catalogue today & I see they have the new Rem R-15 AR Variant listed for $999.00 Canadian . Any one own one of these yet ??? Beats the hell out of the prices used AR's are listed for on the EE
 
They are Bushmaster. The price is great but it's to bad they are camo only. Kinda stupid when the only place you can take them to is a range.
 
Remember these are made for the US market as a hunting rifle. Remington didn't think about Canadians shooting at a gun club when they designed how they look.

Yes I know they are for the Varmint hunter in the U.S. It's just that I'm sure they could have offered the same rifle, with just camo stocks, easily replaceable with standard black stocks
