Remington BDL vs SPS

Sour grapes from a couple of dissenters. 
The SPS is aimed more at the economy crowd, so not as nicely finished or as well stocked.
Both on the same basic action.
Both likely to shoot well.

No sour grapes here. Just my observation. I have several BDl, CDl, and mountain rems. Tried a few SPS's and that is my thoughts. The action looks the same, but the quality is not there.
The weatherby vanguard would be a better option for the price, just not available with DM.

I've had a couple of the old BDL stainless Sythetics that weren't DBM, and a few different SPSs. At one time the SPSs seemed like a bigger bargain than they do now; now I'd rather just give them a few extra bucks to finish building it with a handle that isn't a throw-away. Or at least get a little closer to finished..
Finish is definitely inferior to the other 700's.
For the record, I do not own an SPS.
I also prefer the older ADLs, the BDL's and the CDL's.
The Classic was, far and away, my favorite, since the stock feels "just right" to me.
Fact remains, SPS Remmys do shoot.
A couple of acquaintances of mine own SPS rifles, and if they are less
accurate than the higher grade 700's, I am unable to detect it.
One is a 300 Win Mag, and it is very Catholic in it's tastes, shooting a wide variety of factory ammo into very respectable groups.

SPS's aren't finished as well no doubt about that.
Do people think that Remington has different tooling to make SPS's and BDL's/CDL's ?
Other than the exterior finish there is absolutely no difference.
Imagine 2 Ferrari's. One with a nice paint job and 1 that has been gravel guarded.
