I've only ever seen 1 Remington Model 1907-15, it was "Sportered" or "Bubba'ed" so I didn't buy it for $300 about 20+ years ago.

In "Allied Rifle Contracts in America" the Author states that Remington Made 10k to 20k Berthier rifles with 9440 being delivered to France, a few to the US Gov't and the rest on the commercial market.

Here is a photo from an Indian Reservation showing what looks to me like a Sportered Berthier that I assume is a Remington. I wonder if these were cut down before being sold. The Shooter's Bible #51 (~1960) lists ballistics for. Remington Load of "8mm Lebel Hi Speed" of a 170 grain SP at 2640fps but doesn't show an actual price or the ability to purchase.

Anybody have one they'd care to show off?

Maybe someone can date the car?

A few years back, when I was in the market for a Berthier, I came across a Remington made 1907-15 local to me on Gpost. I passed up on it because I wanted a French made rifle. It was not sporterized and was in excellent condition. I know this doesn't exactly help you any, but they're out there.

I'm not looking for one, just curious if anyone has one they'd care to share as they definately seem rare.

The Author of the book I mentioned says that if a Remington Berthier has a serial number that it is one of those delivered to France. The ones that stayed in the US had no serial numbers.
