Remington bottom metal

I am looking for options on Remington bottom metal. I have an HandS Precision stock. The 3 options I can find are the ATRS one, it's good quality but pricey 550.00 installed plus the cost to ship the rifle so now we are getting up there in price I can almost get an MDT chassis for that price. I found Atlaworx for 200.00 not a bad price, not sure on there quality I have never handled one. Found a Magpul for 100.00 but you need to modify both stock and bottom metal to make it work, not ideal. So looking to see if there are any other options. Preferably from a Canadian supplier, even better if it's from a site sponsor.

I'm on the same quest, the atlas was by far the best deal in metal, I believe it legacy arms makes a plastic kit now.
I have used the legacy on a Weatherby Vanguard with no problems fyi.. kelly

Atlasworks is good stuff. PTG is also good but expect 4-12wks for delivery.

There is very little chance that a DBM is a drop in fit.

Accurate bottom metal was close to a drop in for my Sendero. I bought it on the EE, so can't direct you to it. Nice stuff though.

Drop Gary at Bighorn sales an email thereamerguy@yahoo.ca he has lots of options. There is no free lunch tho, changing from a hinge plate to a dbm will require inletting of the stock to some degree.

Unfortunately I am looking for a short action. I was hoping to support a canadian business, I guess no one makes them except for ATRS. There are a few site sponsors that have PTG and Atlas in stock (well at least show them on there website)

On my Remington 700 SA I have the ATRS bottom metal with an accurate mag WSM mag and it is nice and tight. My stock is an HS precision, it was inletted.

Why not run a HS Precision bottom metal? It's pretty much drop in for your HS stock.

I like ACIS mags. More so I like the MDT mags. I can have 5, 10 or 12 round mags. Or even plastic mags. Inleting the stock is not a problem I have a small mill that will be up to the task.
