Remington Golden Bullet

I ran 50 of them through my semi auto at a high firing speed and didn't have a single problem.. I was actually quite surprised. Could have just been a good batch.

these are crap. i have litterally seen the lead fall right out of the brass before. good for a bolt gun but running this in anything semi is a bad idea

Different guns seem to have different preferences for ammo. Youtube is full of reviews. The Remington golden bullet is actually the recommended ammo for the Advantage Arms conversion kits for Glock and 1911. I did see a review of a bucket of bullets, that when opened was SEVERELY tarnished. I mean some of the cases were almost completely black. The bucket of bullets (1400) rds, can be had for $60 at times on sale ($0.04 per rd) This seems a good value to me. But I think the only way to tell, is buy some, and try in your particular gun, if they work you found some cheap ammo. If not, well .22 is cheap, so not a big deal

I bought a couple of the bulk pack boxes. When I shoot them through my ruger 22/45 lite, it throws quite a bit of debris back into my face.

Dirty, yes. Greasy, yes. Good value, yes.

I run them through a Savage MKll but I use a CCI Minimag as the first round on the follower to avoid feed issues.

I run them through my SIG/GSG and it eats them up for a range session every time.

For the bucket price I am happy to buy them and clean a bit more often. They are good value. I also stock the CCI MMs for times when I am looking for a better round.

The Golden Bullets are OK, in my experience. Not great by any means, but not terrible either. Good plinking ammo.

Hamilton, you're talking about Winchester M-22, right? I've been very pleased with my brick of that stuff - it's good stuff.

i like sk standard plus as well. also eley target, wolf match and eley practice. all avalable for $5 plus a box of 50. i prefer to shoot tight groups at 50 to 100 yrds than just blaze away. i prefer bolts to semi's as well. when my kids were young any bulk ammo was good enough as they could use up 22 at an alarming rate.
