Curious if anyone has any experience or feedback on Remington hunting jackets and pants. I was looking at some in Wal Mart that are waterproof, supposed to scent block, are breathable and insulated. For the pair it would be around 150. It was the Remington 4 in 1 jacket and insulated pants. Any thoughts?

Regards

Adam, I just bought the pants. Im interested to see as well how they hold up in the rain.. They do seem nice and warm though.

I wear Sitka gear.... I also have worn everything else...
oddly enough, my success rates have not changed....and the old gear still sits there, in good shape ready to be worn.

If it fits...and it's what you want...buy it...

Yea thats true....I think I will buy them. I just want something waterproof for the wet coast and something that keeps me hidden and warm, not looking to spend a fortune and they seem very comfortable

I bought the same jacket last year. Kept me dry and warm sitting through a rainstorm last fall duck hunting. This is the first camo / hunting gear I've owned so I haven't got anything to compare it to, but I'm happy with it.

Cheers !
Paul

i have a set of the cold wether stuff and the lighter stuff both from wlly mart remington stuff .i have had it for a few years now and just love it .the heavy stuff is very warm ,and i us the light stuff for fall bow hunting great deal DUTCH

I've got pants, one warm pair and one lighter. Have held up pretty good. I picked them up at the end of the season a year or two ago for $25 so I for what I spent Ifigure I got my money's worth. If you like them look back at Wal-Mart in Jan and see what they have on sale.....

I've got the pants and reversible jacket in realtree hardwood. Ive put 2-3 seasons into them and find them both good. I get a little warm if I'm on the move in the sun, but that can be expected. the jacket I have has cartrige loops in both of the camo side front exterior pockets that fit my .270 rounds well. I'm quite happy with the fit and function.

I have the 4 in 1 jacket and the waterproof pants in Max 4. I've used them for 4 or so seasons, and they have held up to a ton of abuse. I could have spent a lot more for my gear, but I think they are the best value for dollar, sure there is better gear available, but for much more money.

My friend bought that jacket and he really likes it. They come on sale all the time so you might be able to get a good deal if your a careful shopper. However I always say I'm going to buy one every year to replace my now 14 year old hunting coat and I always seem to hit the store while their on sale but sold out.

Me and 2 buddies have had Remington jackets for 10 + years - and they are waterproof and warm - we have the orange ones for deer hunting

Last week I bought that set from Walmart. Haven't used in the field yet... although the was a pretty bad rain storm here and my wife left the windows down on her van, so I put on the jacket and ran out. Water beaded off pretty good and no leaks. All and all it seems pretty good and warm. For early season I will only use the outer layer of the jacket.
