Remington hypersonic steel

Has anyone heard of or tried this stuff yet? they seem to be using some interesting technology in it. think the extra velocity will blow out the pattern?

Sorry haven't tried it, but speed equals performance as far as steel goes, so I suppose adding more speed can't hurt if the stuff patterns at all well.

Also, here's a little lesson for Remington:

1,700 m/s is approximately equivalent to Mach 5, aka the 'hypersonic' realm.

But 1,700 fps (feet per second) does not equal 1,700 m/s (meters per second).

Hence, HyperSonic is not really hypersonic. Nice gimmick, though.

I shot some 3" #1 at geese last weekend from my sx3 with a Kicks Highflyer Mod - never got a chance to pattern it, but it hit a few HARD at pretty repectable distances.
