Remington Lee 303

Very rare rifle. Especially in 303 British as most were 30-40 Krag or 45/70. I've seen 45/70 mags for sale in the USA....were on pricey side...US$120.00 and up. This was a few years ago.

What shape is the rifle in?

Don't think so as mods were made before the rifle entered British service by Joseph
Speed.

While the Remington Lee in 45-70 looks just like the grand daddy of the metford, I wasn't aware that Remington made any in .303. But I am far from being an expert on the subject. Trials model?

They were made in 7x57, 7.62 mouser, 30-40 Krag, and 6mm Lee Navy

"Remington Lee was manufactured in 45-70, 30-40 Krag, 43 Spanish, 6mm Navy Special, 30, 45, 50, 42 CF, 303 British and 11mm" - source "Eugene Myszkowski - The Remington Lee Rifle published 1994". There is a Remington lee in 303 British on display in the Remington Arms Co, Museum in Ilion, NY.

I suggest posting a picture of the magazine you're after....some interesting stuff is tucked away...never know what will surface.

Any body got a Remington Lee Receiver or a rifle in poor condition they what to part with?
