Have one in .303. Not quite as nice as yours though.
Eugene Myszkowski ran a survey on calibers and listed 5 in New Zealand. Another half dozen or so have appeared after publication.

Not getting any answers or other sites so here goes:
Can anyone tell me if this rifle has any collector value? Some say it has no collector value yet there were only 1446 made in total from 1899-1909. I have been reading that only around 12 have turned up in 303 British. Seems like a lot of people don't even know that those rifles exist, maybe that affects the value. Some say it is Remington's first sporter with a detachable magazine. There is a book by Eugene Myszkowski called The Remington Lee Rifle , but I don't have it. I have not been able to find any for sale so it is kinda hard to find a value.

Cool rifle, and rare, but rare does not always mean valuable.
I doubt very much anyone in Canada would give you more than $1000 for it, it's not a mint example, and this pattern is not really collected in Canada. Cool rifle, and I wish I had one to take apart, examine, fire a little and maybe take a deer with.
Case in point - if you look at a pre-war Merkel combo gun - you can still buy them new for over $10K as a custom rifle. They are rare, superbly made, and in europe and the USA command big money. I've yet to see one sell used in Canada, even in nice shape, for over $3K - even though they are amazing rifles with top craftsmanship. Why? Almost nobody collects them here and those that do already have great examples.
Now if it was in similar shape and of similar age and had Winchester written on it - almost doesn't matter what model it would be, it would be worth thousands - go figure - lots of people collect Winchester, but not so with obscure Remingtons.
