I have been offered some old firearms and need advice as to their value. They have been well cared for and are in good condition.
-Remington 722 in 257 Roberts with Lyman all American 4x scope.
-Tikka Model 65 in 3006 with Older Tasco 3-9 scope.
There are other rifles for sale in this package as well: m77 winchester 22 semi, Enfield P17 Lee Enfield 303, Winchester model 50 12 ga semi auto.
Any info on these would be appreciated.
I have not bought these guns so this is not a for sale ad.

This sure is an interesting gal.

The Tikka Model 65's are wonderful rifles as well.
Should sell in a heart beat.

Photos of at least these two would sure help.

It would help to know what your intentions are.
Buy to keep verses buy to sell to make a wee bit oh reeb muhnies?

$1500 for the top two seems like a quick and easy number to spout awf......
condition pending.

Condition means everything, but Looky isn't on crack when he mentions $1500 for the Tikka and the 722.
If these were for you to use and not sell immediately, $700 for the Tikka and $500 for the 722 are fair numbers. Anything less is a bonus.

Good advice so far. I'm familiar with the Tikka M65, and as Kamlooky said, they are great rifles with smooth and solid actions.

A few things that can affect the value of the Tikka: deluxe vs. standard, spare mags, factory rings, and factory iron sights. Deluxe M65s have rosewood accents on the grip cap and foreend tip. Each mag is an easy $100 - $125 and the rings are a big bonus. Some people prefer clean barrels, but I'd pay extra for the factory irons, especially if they came with a hood.

I believe the last couple of Tikka M65 Deluxes sold in the $750 - $950 range, with the $950 including a couple of mags and rings.

Well I bought all 6 guns. The Tikka is a deluxe with 2 mags, iron sights, including the hood with holes in it and Tikka rings. I got dies and brass as well for the Tikka and the Model 722. I will play with them for awhile and then may put them on EE.
