Remington M504

I just aquired a New In Box Remington Model 504 rifle in 22 LR . Eveything is there in the box as New ! It has Very Nice wood and Nice blueing . Actually a Real BEAUTY !
As they are rare 2005-2007 vintage only it’s hard to find a $$ Value of what it might be WORTH to a Remmy Collector .
Any ideas of REAL $ Value

quick question…is that the rifle that was used by the Remington Custom Shop… tweaked and fitted with a Shilen Match barrel?? I’ve got one sitting somewhere in the back of my safe, paid $1,500 many years ago. I might be interested. Pm me.

No it is not - its just a REG sporter 20 " barrel .

Thats a super cool rifle. Definitely for a collector. Reports of them being a little hit or miss are pretty standard. For someone who wants to hunt or target shoot, for the price of a 504. A t1X or CZ likely a better option

I've got a 504 in .17 HMR, it outshoots my Anschutz HMRs. I love the buttery smooth action, great rifles.

I've got an 1827 LH and a 1517MPR in 17 HMR and the 504 shoots as good or better with preferred ammo.

504 summary

magazines are quite expensive and hard to obtain

bolt and action work ok

is it serial numbers after 4000 shoot better

ALWAYS WANTED THE SHILEN BARREL MODEL

cannot currently lift a rifle but would buy one just in case i get a little better

good rifle for 1200 bucks in newish condition

anybody drunk enough to sell a shilen barreled one?

not the best but a nice rifle for beginners

I liked the one i bought but it was newish and i didn't shoot it

neversaid i was very bright
