I have a Very :)NICE Remington M722 chambered in 300 Savage - 24 " barrel dates to Jan / 1951 - Its believed to be “ one “ of the Rarest Cartridge - Caliber that the M722 was ever produced in. Just Wondering if any Old time Remmy guys on here can add any info !
Thanks :) RJ

well there you go it's on line so it must be true
once again the 222 rem mag is not tat difficult to find it was a tem cartridge in a rem rifle and at the time a very popular cartridge
the 257 bob is rarer than the mag and much more desirable

It is. Rifling looks great and no significant dings on the stock. I’m not at home right now but I believe it was the early 50’s and the lower one was from the first year of production- but I could be mistaken.

Oh- and I haven’t gotten around to shooting either yet!
