Remington Managed Recoil Slugs

What kind of information are you looking for?

If it is accuracy ... I have shot the high velocity Sluggers ... and they seem to be accurate out of my gun (870 Police with smooth bore barrel and rifle sights). And I would assume that the managed recoil ones are in the same category ... i.e. similar accuracy. However, that does not mean they would be accurate out of your gun ... Unfortunately, you will only know if you test them .... :-(

Group at 50 meters ...

If it is penetration ... at 1200 FPS the penetration of the Remington Managed Recoil Slugs should be somewhere in between the Sellier & Belliot or the Aguila Mini slug that I tested ... but still plenty enough for hunting deer for example. And I am assuming here you are talking 12ga.

Hope this helps ...

p.s.: The most accurate rifled slugs I have found so far for a smooth bore are the Federal TruBalls.

My wife shoots them out of her Winchester 1300 with 24" barrel. Shoots them to 3" at 50. Good nuff for the deer hunting we do and doesn't kill her shoulder or scare her like the challengers I shoot out of my 1300.
