Hi All

I am trying to find out the rough value of a Remington Model 11 12 gauge shotgun made in 1909 in order to help out a friend.

Functional and roughly 50% condition

I can provide photos to help when he sends them to me.

A Model 11 in that condition sold for 400.00 in the EE recently. They should be a collector's item but they're not. The A5s get all the glory.

There is a fool for everything :) and I have remington stamped on my ass . Yes market is very high for vintage remingtons but not model 11's. Only one worth money is the riot version. WHAT USE IS A FIXED CHOKE WITH A 2 3/4 chamber today in a semi that weighs what this does
If one can get 400 grab it and kiss the guy especially in 50% condition

I have yet to buy an 11 but when I do I will pay only 200.00 for it, as instructed. Perhaps you should publish a list of the prices shotguns should be. Save us all a lot of trouble.

Perhaps you should learn about vintage remington shotguns and their values rather than being an ass. Then again
Here an easy one for you .They made like 850,000 where the hell are they all at in canada if so great , with value or collectable
Can you say rebar

In the last 24 months there has been 3 in 12ga on at the various auctions hosted on icollector, they ranged from the 3-500 range with buyers premium/tax included for so-so examples. Needless to say I would grab any you find at $200.
The 20ga versions go for even more.

3 out of 850,000 in 2 years
Thanks for confirming what I have been saying and the yanks agree with me but WTF would I know been collecting remington shotguns for 50 years and have over 60 in all makes and models pre 86 but no model 11 for a reason

Cheers

I don't know what the market is in your area, but entry level old Model 11 "standard" Grades or "Sportsman" A "Standard" Grades rarely go much over $175 in the shops around here. I see dealers asking two or three times that on GB but likewise I don't see those guns moving.

You sure do get wound up when someone disagrees with you. You must be fun at parties.

Only when they talk vintage remington shotguns and think they know them and what is worth saving. Too old and been at it too long for dreams
Buy them all in model 11 if that rocks your boat but someday you will wish you didnot and listened is all I and other remington collectors are saying
If you like the style etc buy old A5's and be much better off
Cheers

Put it up for $450 and say that this was the gun Bonnie and Clyde used and watch it sell. Use words like “RARE” or
“ULTRA RARE”. “You can’t get these anymore” and other trendy marketing terms. Oh and I just saw this one on GP. With asterisks ***COLLECTIBLE***

Some of the early M11, at the time, they called them Remington Autoloading Shotgun or RAS are collector items. Like this very early model (first pic) with the Remington address on the side of the receiver or the higher grade (second pic model 11 and 10) with the Nimschke style engraving. If one of you have one for sale, pm me.
