Remington model 12a

REMINGTON MODEL 12A, at least I think it is. Any desire for these rifles? I think this may be a parts rifle, as I am not even sure it fires anymore. Anyone know much about them? Any way to date it? If it's really old I may just keep her around. Thanks in advance

According to the barrel code it was manufactured in November 1928.
