I had a model 14 remington given to me recently. It is chambered in .30 rem. As I understand, this cartridge is no longer produced. I don't have any reloading equipment, but I would like to be able to shoot this gun on occasion. Any suggestions?

Gun shows. I have managed to gather up boxes of old Dominion ammunition at shows, .30 Remington isn't common any more, but that's where you will find some. I found a box at a show a few years back. Save the brass!

What he said. When it comes to calibers of that oddity if you find brass and/or ammo. You buy it. If you're serious, you'll buy it at any damn near reasonable price. Maybe find someone that is willing to reload it for you. Nice acquisition on your part by the sounds of it.

Shoot straight,
Kid
