Remington Model 14 sear replacement Help!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had experience in disassembling the bolt in a Remington model 14 to check out and possibly replace the sear? If not, does anyone know a good gunsmith that would have experience with these rifles?

I was told that this could be the problem as when you cycle the action firmly, the firing pin gets released, but doing it gently, it doesn't and you can pull the trigger to release it.

If it is any help, somewhere around here I have some manuals for mod 14s. If I can find them I could send you some info. Gonna have to dig, cause I haven't used them for quite some time.

I would really like some of that info also as I have an m14 in .30rem .
I was lucky enough to find a brand new set of 30 rem dies and a crapload of brass.
