Remington Model 30

A friend had someone bring this gun to his store for sale/trade.
It is a Remington Model 30 pump shotgun in 16 gauge. I can't find any information about this gun and neither can he.
Does anyone here know of such a shotgun?

There was a Model 31, made from 1931 to 1949.

The Remington Model 30 was a bolt action rifle based on the U.S. Model of 1917 Enfield.

Yea, that's the only information I could find too. The gun is apparently clearly marked Model 30 so I'll keep looking.

Remington shows no history of a model 30 shotgun. Is it possible this is a "one of" or made for/by Remington for someone else? Could be a collector Maybe try emailing or calling Remington with the serial # and see what they say.

I got my hands on this gun and find it was mis-identified as a Remington product. It turns out that it's a Ranger Model 30 which makes it a Stevens 520. Thanks for the replies.
