Remington model 4

I have an old .22 single shot. I have look it up and it would be a Remington model 4 take down rifle.

Is there anyone familiar with this model ?

Nice little Rolling Block.

Watch that the takedown lever stays tight, and that the action does not wobble when the lever is done up.

While it may be strong enough for modern High Velocity ammo, you are better off sticking to the standard velocity stuff on principle, as that was what it was built to handle.
