Remington Model 5 Zastava just Looking to see who else has one of these bought this rig from #######
Came with a feeding issue which I’ve 80% resolved.
loves SK pink beat group @50m 5shot .097 either I’m having a really good day or it’s the rifle! Worst group .455 all ammo tested 10 brands and seems to like a variety the stuff weird!! the one it didnt like produced the.455. I’ve worked the trigger a bit more haven’t bin back to the range to see if all stays together just trying to find a few others that have owned one of these paid 300.00 bucks bought it only cause Ive never seen one let alone heard of one. Just wanna find out are these that racey out of the box or did the earth align that day?
I’m also looking for more 5shot mags if anyone has such a thing.
Look forward to hear from anyone that had or sold one.

Had one a while back. Feeding issue with mine was in the bolt face. Take the bolt out and see if a round fits under the ejector and extractor properly. Mine was binding when coming up out of the magazine. I needed to file a tiny bit on the extractor hook to get it to work properly. The do usually shoot really well thou.

I as well have a model 5 I’ve had about 10 years. Love the thing shoots fantastic and not extremely picky about ammunition. Out of the time I’ve had it iv only had loading issues maybe a dozen times could have been fixed before me. Great little .22 nice to look at as well. I haven’t got one my self but if you’re looking for a magazine look for zastava mp .22 that is the the gun you have just stamped Remington Model 5. Can’t remember the years zastava made .22 for Remington but it made for a nice good shooter. Put a1.5-4 vortex crossfire on top of it not a tack safe at 25 yards and about 1” at 50 a little better if I’m up to it. Some trigger work would definitely improve mine never had an issue till i got a cz and discovered the difference a trigger makes.

I have a mp22 that is very accurate.

Had extraction issues and put stronger extractor springs in the bolt. Works good now but once it gets a bit dirty I have some fte's again, probably due to the very tight chamber.
