Remington MODEL 504-T

I have a 504T HB in the Laminate stock with the wide forend. This rifle is really very accurate!! I do know what accurate is, since I also own two Winchester 52's, an Anschutz 54 Match and a Remington 40X rimfire. It will not shoot with these rifles, but for the price, it's a bargain. Outshoots my 452 American Rimfire, and probably is in about the same class as a 541S Remington for accuracy. These have a match chamber, and feel really good in the hands. Trigger is adjustable as well. Regards, Eagleye.
Remington 504-T-HB
Have a 504-T-HB LS in .17HMR. When I first got this rifle I had problems with shooting high @ 50 yard sight in . Inspected bedding in barrel channel and found a high spot 2 inches ahead of the receiver.
After carefull removel of the high spot and adjusting the trigger to 2 lbs it will shoot dime size groups @ 100 yds.
Be carefull of the bolt knob as it will come loose it is held by one little set screw and in short time it loosens. I made a tactcal bolt knob with an interference fit and epoxy used to lock into place with the set screw.
Has not come loose yet.
Overall great rifle with some carefull setup
