Remington Model 525???? Any Info?

So... I found this while cleaning out my late step-dads garage. Turns out it was his gun from when he was younger. Anyways, the gun came in a bag with nothing else, I tried to find information regarding it, specs.. anything and all I could find was a link to a company selling a one page manual. Even remingtons website does not have any mention of this particular gun. Its a .22SL or 22LR bolt action rimfire and is clearly stamped. It can take mags because I tried the 10 shot mag out of an old model 521 and its the same.

Anyone know anything about this gun?

I cannot find it in any gun guide at all..

What type of ammo would be ideal for this rifle?

Made in Brazil, isn't it? Think it was made by CBC. They also made a copy of the Nylon 66.
I had one, found that there was no info on it as well. Guess Remington wasn't proud of importing it. It's a copy of a Rem. 511. Actually, I've got a 511 with a CBC mag in it.
Mags from a 511, 513, 521 should fit.
It's a $100 gun if in good shape.

You cannot use 22 Magnum rimfire ammo in this rifle, since the chamber dimensions are too small. Eagleye.
