Remington model 541THB

I have a remington model 541THB and a friend of mine is bugging me to sell it to him.This gun is very much like new,leupold bases and 3 clips.I am not sure what it is worth,can anyone help.

Target sights or no sights?
The 541's seem to go for the big bucks. There was one at the local gun shows for almost $600
I'd like one myself but not willing to pay that much.

The one on gunbroker just sold for $430.00 us.I am not sure what that is in your money.I guess $600.00 might not to much out of line(maybe he will stop asking)or might take it

Remington 541THB

Hey 240Gord, another member from Ladysmith here. I bought a 541T in 1996 and if I remember correctly I payed $475 new. The THB model was $500 I think, and harder to find in Canada.
My dad bought a 541T about a year ago, the gun was in excellent condition and he payed $300 for it. Hope this helps! Let me know what ya want for it I have a buddy who is looking for a nice bolt action .22.

The 541S in excellent shape is selling for around $700.00 USD, The T with the match chamber [early production] only slightly less. I have one of each, and they are truly accurate rifles. The THB is worth less than these, since virtually none came with the match chamber and the fully adjustable triggers that were on the early rifles, My guess is about $400.00 or a bit more if it is pristeen.
