Very nice rifle. Seen one other one before.
Here's my take on the 350 RM. Sucks shooting out of a Remington Model 600. Much better in a Model 673. The added barrel length and weight of the 673 tamed the 350 RM a bit. Should've kept the 673 instead of the Model 7 SS in 300 RSAUM.

Had a very nice 673 in the past. You will be hand loading for that fine piece unless you can find some secret (expensive) stash of factory ammo.
I've had three 350's. Sent the 600 to AK, traded off the second, and kept a custom built on a Mauser action. Very good cartridge, like a shorter 35 Whelan. - dan

Beautiful rifle, very interesting caliber. Belted magnum cartridge but in a short action. Looks like the short action cousin of the .35 Whelen. Brass might be tough to find though.
Found some factory 200 gr corelokt's with a friend this morning. Scoped it with a vx3 2.5-8x32, dropped the trigger from 6lbs to 3, and shot it this evening. Recoil was dissapointingly low actually. 200 gr bullets going 2600 fps. Looked like it would group well with the exception of a flyer/poor shooting out to the left.
Gun is too short for me so I'm not sure if it will stick around. Thanks for all of your experiences.

I'd go the longer action route meself. All the better to toss 300 gr hardcast from without mag length issues. Neat cartridge to work with.

The main attraction of the 350 RM is a short action. If I was going to build a .35 on a long action, I would build a .35 Whelen.
You have a sweet little bush gun there with an excellent scope to go with it. Try to get used to it, model 7s are fun. Find a synthetic stock and butler creeks to save the wood and glass and you have a great dogging or still hunting gun. If not let me know what you want for it. It would go good next to my 660, 700 classic and 700 bdl.

The .350 Magnum is a short action .35 Whelen. A .350 Magnum chambered light rifle does jump around a mite, so a bedding job might be in order to prevent that nice stock from failing. Handloaded, the cartridge is very versatile, with light cast bullet loads loaded to .357 magnum velocities for plinking and small game hunting, up to 310 gr Woodleighs for the heaviest North American game. If there's a disadvantage to the cartridge, its that when chambered in a short action rifle, the magazine length will force you to seat long bullets down into the case, possibly having a negative affect on powder capacity. A 225 gr spitzer represents a good balance of velocity and terminal performance.
If you chamber the 350 in a longer action you can seat the bullets out further, effectively giving you more case capacity than the 35 Whelen. I can push 250 gr Speers over 2600 fps, which is a tad quicker than all of the 35 Whelens I've owned. Fwiw. - dan the
