I have a chance to pick up one of these. I am not really a synthetic stock guy let alone camo. But for some reason this one is calling me. It will be added to the predator calling stable. I like that it only weighs 7 lbs, I like the camo aspect and I like the shorter action on it.

Does any one have one? What are your thoughts on it? How's does it shoot?

Comments/concerns welcome. Thanks for looking.

A buddy has one and I did a bit of target shooting with it. Shot well. I liked the compactness of it. Don't like the factory stock, I don't like any Remington stocks outside of the few with an HS. Much lighter than my heavy barrel 700. Kinda kicking myself for not grabbing my own 7 Predator from LeBaron when they were selling them for $500.

Have several Model Seven CDL's, they all shoot great.
My buddy hunts with an M7, 243, Synthetic, he loves it.
If you like the gun grab it, cheers

Thanks guys. I over think things! Most of my rifles have wood stocks but a few synthetics have crept in lately. I have a 700 VLS in 223 but it's pretty heavy, a 700 Tactical oh and a Browning Xbolt Hunter. So I really need another 223, right?

I love the model Seven and the predator models features very much appeal to me. I regret passing on one in .22-250 when given the opportunity. If you want to distinguish it from the other .223's you have get it reamed out to AI. problem solved and gives a velocity boost. It makes a nice walking varmint rifle.
