Remington Model 7 ####

I've had probably a dozen Model Sevens thru my hands over the years, liked them all.

Recently acquired a stainless/synthetic version in 300 SAUM. Not sure what I'll do with it yet........or, why I bought it...:)

Here's one that's a bit rare, a M7 XCR. Syn stock and fluted barrel this one is a 300wsm and 6.1/4# with the rings.

I've had 2 of the xcr m7's, one in 308, one in 300wsm. The 308 was cray accurate, the 300 I never even fired. I would love to find another in wsm, I have a pail of brass and a set of dies but no rifle.

I think that one wants to be a 6.5 Gap or a 350 Rm maybe!

DG - I haven't felt the urge to shoot this one either, its been hiding in the back for a while. I found some talleys for good price at a show this spring and put them on so I wouldn't lose them and got a free 1/2 box of ammo a month ago. Had a vx3 2.5-8 that was kinda a spare but finally found a MK2 6mm so had to do so rearranging optics and it went on the 700MR 260.
I would trade it for the same in 7-08.

My 6mm Remington model 7. The wife hates when I cruise the EE forum. Picked this gem up awhile back in a youth stock then found a take off synthetic. AC Douglas did a great job fitting the two together. Using it in the Manitou Sand Hills in Saskatchewan this week for antlerless mule deer. Trying out the 85 grain tsx.
