Remington Model 7

I am wondering if a model 7 in 7mm RSAUM has the same bolt face as a .300 WSM? I may rebarrel mine to that caliber.

you can make it fit if you know what to check. The fact that you are asking tells me you need a smiths help

Yep, same size and thread, but will need to have the headspace checked and altered if needed.

they fit fine. i used a 700 7 08 take off barrel on a model 7 action. reamed out to 7 08 ai.

Of course I'll need a smith. Who else is going to flute the bolt and slab the action as well as throw in a new barrel???
