Does anyone know if Remington factory barrels from Model 700 short action calibers are interchangeable with Model 7 barrels? i.e., can you swap factory take-off barrels from a 700 to a 7 or a 7 to a 700? Just wondering?

yes, you can...as a matter of fact barrel interchangability between various models of Remington bolt actions is very good...
all these models will interchange within thier respective cartridge lengths,feed rails,magazines and bolt faces, with proper headspacing of course....Model Seven, 700, 600, 660, 673, Sportsman 78, 721,722 and 725........they all have the same threads and counterbores...
