You can use a piece of tubing about .725 inches long... I used a piece of aluminum arrow shaft about .350" diameter...
drop it inside the bolt and screw the firing pin assembly back in... as it screws in the back of the firing pin protrudes more and more from the shroud exposing the cocking piece retaining pin.

Literally 3 minutes from my house. I've been there once, first and last time.
I made mine. A piece of 1/2” black water piipe about 6 1/2” long, 2 1/2” course thread nuts, a piece of 1/2” Redi-Rod 4 1/2” long and a 1/2” wingnut.
Weld the nuts on both ends of the pipe, thread wing nut onto one end of the redi-rod and tack weld it so it stays there. I drilled a hole in the other end to make sure the firing pin stays nice and centered though it may not matter.
Thread the striker assembly into one end and the rod into the other end. It only took a few minutes so I made a second one just for fun.
I would bet that in a pinch you could duct tape the nuts to the pipe and just use a 1/2” bolt if you are just going to use it once.
I like Guntech’s idea better; might have done that if I’d thought of it.
