10 rounds of .308. No gunsmiths, just unbolt the factory trigger guard, slide the HS precision one in. There was one small piece inside the inletting of the stock that required slight trimming to let the DBM go all the way in, then screw in the bolts again. This was with the original HS Precision stock. The McMillan when I switched stocks was inletted specifically for the HS DBM.
If you can use an Allen wrench and an Xacto knife, you can add this DBM to you Remington 700 5R milspec rifle that comes with the HS Precision stock. Basically a straight swap.
