remington model 700 ss mountain

maybe out of the box. i find rems usually need a little trigger work and bedding. i had a 280 mnt rifle that shot very well with only a trigger adjustment but most require a little tlc.
 
I had a Mountain rifle in .280 Remington. It shot about 1.25" with factory ammo. I sold the barrel and stock as I wanted the action. Usually any 700 will shoot better if you float the barrel, properly glass bed the action and worked the trigger lighter and crisp... many, many owners do that before they ever shoot it.
