Remington model 760

I have really appreciated adding the recoil pad to my 760 30-06. It was hardly used before I bought it, but it works flawlessly and is minute of moose if not minute of angle. Yeah, the mag release is a bit stiff. I have had mine apart and don't remember an O-ring on the pump mechanism, yes, it is a bit rattly.

I had my brother's apart, and the oring had crumbled. Put a new one in and the rattle go away.

My 760 didn't have the o-ring.So i got a grove machined,and installed one for the large sum of $14.
