Hi ,I have an old Remington model 8 semi in 35 rem. I used it this past fall and got a nice Doe. Do any of you ever hunt with these or other "oldies" JUst curious JITC

I occasionally use my .35 Model 8 when dogging through.

I owned one once in that Calibre. A truly lovely gun to follow Browning's genius around in having a close look at how it was built and the thinking behind early semi-auto. That recoiling barrel just knocked my out, and I really like the Deco, Buck Roger's look. The .35 is very effective without knocking you on your ass. If I ever get the chance at another good one, I'll have it.
