Hello:

Does anyone know if any Canadian dealer currently has a Remington Model 870 Express Turkey Camo in 12 gauge in stock (SKU #25152)?

http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model_870/model_870_express_turkey_camo.asp

I have visited my local shop, called different vendors and searched various web sites without any luck.

If anyone is aware of a vendor who currently has this specific model in stock please send me a PM with details.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Regards,

Chizzy

Thats a wicked looking gun
I just bought my 870 a few weeks ago, and thats the one I wanted ... they didn't have one in stock and was too impatient to wait so I settled for an all black synthetic .
I like the all black, but I kinda wish I waited for the Turkey Camo .

Have you tried http://www.wholesalesports.com/onlinestore/control/main
A big place like Wholesale Sports should have them at one of there stores ??

Yes, I called Wholesale Sports today and they did not have any in stock. Thank you for your suggestion.

Ellwood Epps shows they have four of them.

Hello Duck_Hunter:

I believe that Ellwood Epps models on their web site are slightly different than the model I am looking for.

I believe that the Ellwood Epps site is referring to the thumbhole stock model (SKU #81114)

I require model SKU #25152 for my purposes. I have e-mailed Ellwood Epps to see if they can order me one in a timely fashion. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Duck_Hunter:

I had checked LeBarons and could not see the specific model that I am looking for listed. I could not find any firearms listed on the Basspro web site. I also did a search for 870 on their site and only found accessories. My quest continues. Thanks for your help.

I think there webpage is mostly out of the U.S. the store itself has a fairly large firearms section. Give them a call, you never know. Turkey season's coming soon!!

Thank you Duck_Hunter. I went back to the Bass Pro web site and found a local flyer for the Toronto store and they had the gun that I was looking for listed in the flyer! Please tell me that they sell their guns through mail order. I will be giving them a call tomorrow. Thank you for your suggestion. Wish me luck.

I think you are S.O.L. on the mail order from bass pro. But call them to make sure. Where are you lacated?

I think that you are correct, I have done some searches on CGN and it looks like they don't do mail order shipping. Unfortunately, I am a good four-hour drive to Toronto so I don't think that I will be making the trip. I will give them a call just to confirm my suspicions.

Don't look too hard. Just buy an express wood 870, go on Ebay, buy a Ramline camo stock and foregrip for $30, and then swap them. The choke that comes with the gun is no hot ticket anyway, and The ramline stocks fit better. sell your wood stock and your set. I bouth both the stocks below and the foregrip for less than $100 off ebay.

This was a black synthetic when I bought it in September...

Hello Janesy:

Nice set up! I actually was able to locate the gun I was looking for at a dealer relatively close to a city I will be working in this week. I will be picking it up on Thursday or Friday! The EBay solution would probably not have worked for me given how close we are to opening day. I have a Remington Ventilator that I have for my other 870 that I will quickly swap out. Thank you for your time and suggestions. Have a nice day.

Hey thanks for the tip .... I settled for all black, but now I guess I will have camo too :D
I checked ebay, the only ones I found were $89 ??? where did you find them for $30 ?

Just keep watching it, they come up all the time. I waited a while before I found mine in MAX4 that wasn't regular price. I see them fairly often on there in MossyOak.

I use EBAY>COM, not .ca and i search 870 stock. There are also a whack of 870 parts available in the ebay stores who don't always advertise their auctions
