I can't seem to come up with anything?
It's that blued synthetic, 'sps' style finish, 308 20 inch barrel..

So you didn't look it up past google
I've dated numerous Remington rifles on that site.So you didn't look it up past googlehaha.
There's not one Identifications for any NUMBER on there to what I pick up??
All that refers to is Years for LETTERS. My serial no lettering?
Yeah that's cool! That's fairly close so to speak.I've dated numerous Remington rifles on that site.
On 8/9/99, they stopped stamping the barrels with the date code.
They continued to mark the date code on the end flap of the shipping box. They resumed stamping the date code on the barrel on 10/1/01.
It's likely yours was built in that 3 year span, along with mine that's not far off your serial #.
Also a 308 win.View attachment 948420
It appears the magazine box, spring and follower are indeed the same from a Remington 700 short action caliber and a Remington Model Seven short action caliber.Does that mean the magazine box, spring, and follower are interchangeable between the M7 and M700 SA?
While the M7 aftermarket is less substantial, quality upgrade components are available --- in particular, Wildcat Composites in AB make an M7 pattern ultralight stock that is very solid/stiff. It's a nice upgrade at 18 or so ounces.

The floor-plate of course is different and not interchangeable.
Remington Jim is a knowledgeable person to confirm this. He has a tremendous amount of experience with the model seven Remington.....![]()
Cool.In my original post to this thread, I mentioned I was looking for M7 bottom metal and action screws. I lucked out over Christmas and found a local seller for the bottom metal (still pricey for what it was, but what are you to do?). Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for the action screws, but really enjoying the few threads that have popped up recently on the Model Seven.
If you have a decent fastener store near you, you can probably get what you need there. - danIn my original post to this thread, I mentioned I was looking for M7 bottom metal and action screws.
