Remington mohawk 22 cal clip

.
Check the actual model number of your rifle. The name "Mohawk" was used as a generic name by Remington for many different models. I believe yours might be a Model 77 as the Model 66 was a tube fed rifle loaded through the butt stock. Later Remington renamed it to the 10C with a 10 shot clip - apparently to compete with the Ruger 10-22. Remington also made some "Apache 77" green rifles for K-Mart.

Look on the bottom of the Pistol Grip cap, and it should have the model number there "Nylon 77" for example.

A while ago, I needed a magazine for a Model 581 Remington. The five round magazine was not available, but ten round mags were. One interchangeability parts book I have lists the 581 magazine as interchangeable with the Model 77, but I have not tried this myself.

If this is so, then these ten round magazines are available from the Remington Depot in Quebec, so find a Remington Dealer and ask about them. Wolverine Supplies in Virden, Mb., ordered me two of them, and I had them within two weeks.
