Remington muzzle loader

I was looking at the "Bad Bull Muzzleloaders" and they looked cool but figured you could build something just as good but at a fraction of the cost.

I have a 700ML in the safe, and it will stay there. It just isn't muzzle loading, even though you feed it from the front. It's cold, and without character. I will take a flinter or percussion cap any day, and be quite happy with the reduced range and iron sights. The 700 and other modern easy button ML's are a manufacturers way around the ML seasons and eventually will be the cause of the ML seasons being closed down.
At first seasons were made to allow for the handicap of muzzle loading, and the concept of it being a short range gun, safer to use in populated areas. Now we have ML's that out shoot many center fires .
if you want to experience muzzle loading , for what it realy is all about , pick up a Hawken , or a long rifle and get in close. I limit my hunting distances to 70 yards, that's over 3x the range of my longbows.

Same can be said of compound/crossbow and bow seasaons, I don't see it happening any time soon in regards to loosing a muzzle season.
