remington parts need a place

I ve got a rem 572 that has a part that i cant figure out where the spring connects to it is part 46 and i believe that it locks the action closed but i dont know wher the spring attaches to

it looks like it pushes on the trigger assembly-the other end goes into a plunger that should push against the back of the action bar lock- looks like it should push the bar lock up- you can see this if you pull up the e-parts catalogue or the remington exploded diagram- there might or might not be a "home" on the trigger assembly in the form of a notch or hole- you probably have to remove the action bar lock and hammer pin to find it's home
