Anyone have a source for a forend support for a Remington 1100/11-87? And before you say Western Gun Parts, they don't have any. Seems like these things are made of unobtainium these days.
Yeahhhh ..... some Remington spare parts are hard to find.
The Gunrepaircenter in Florida has Remington spare parts that nobody else has. However, they are not allowed to ship to Canada because of a clause in the contract they have with Remington. You would have to figure out how to get those parts across the border .... and which is doable. Most spare parts do not need an export license if the total value is less than USD $500.- ......
I don't know about the $500.00 thing, my understanding was that as a firearm part, they are fall under the ITAR rules and that why most U.S. companies won't bother with the paperwork involved to export parts. Or if they did, the added expense would make a $9.00 part into a $100.00 part. From the forums I've read, this particular part isn't even readily available stateside.
