Remington R-15

I got an issue of Outdoor Edge the other day and it had a full page ad spread of firearms. One of them was the R-15, "available at hunting stores near you." Not that we could use it here for hunting, of course.

Has anyone actually seen one of these for sale? Impressions?

I shot the R-15 two weeks ago, and I can say it is a really a piece of junk.

Two R-15 out of the box , brand new the Remington sales rep was Embarrassed.

FTF, bolt not smooth at all ,finish I wasn't impressed , however the 308 was perfect , no complains.

Have "heard" that both Cabela's/SIR and WSS have ordered them but have not yet received shipments.

I held one at the Calgary gun show this past spring. I think it was on the P&D table.

Bought one.

Is supposed to arrive late July. Paid 973$ for it. That's my first AR so I didn't want to break the bank you know. I'll probably catch the AR bug just like my 1911 illness...

Can't wait to try it out though...
