Does anyone know who has the best price on the Remington R1 1911 Enhanced pistols?

Theres a dealer in Que who has a nice "special edition" in two tone right now for $699....fwiw...

I have to add that maybe it is a brand new one, I was not focusing on it because I was there for my DE44, and it was a real R1s, beautiful gun, better trigger than my Rem. R1 (black)...

just bought a R1E from The Gun Dealer for $869 plus tax. average price but their service is kick ass. I highly recommend them.

Anybody know if the Remington 1911 rosewood Grips with the emblems (see pic) will fit on the Remington R1 Enhanced? I have seen them successfully installed on the R1 but never on the enhanced. I thought I read online somewhere that a modification was needed to allow room for the larger safety on the enhanced. Anybody know if they fit correctly?
