Remington R1 Carry

Just picked one up on trade, only comes with 2 mags. Any experienced guys have recommendations on mags and parts that work best with it? This is my first experience with a 1911.

Mec-gar and Dlask mags have worked well for me in my 1911s.

Both of the above. Mec-gar provides mags to many an OEM and I've never had a bad one. Marstar stocks them

I've had good results with Mec-Gar, McCormick (aka Shooting Star) and Wilson mags....

Picked up an R1 this summer as well and love the blued finish on it. Do yourself a favour and google 1911 idiot scratch now for your ounce of prevention.
